I wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year.

I am working on a new manuscript: HOSTAGE TO FORTUNE is a romance set during the French Revolution. Like STIRRING PASSIONS, it has four main characters. Lady Regina, daughter of a viscount, enjoys her first Season in London. Her father, Anthony, Lord Buckleigh, cherishes the memory of his deceased French wife, Anne. No woman has succeeded in gaining his affections. No woman, until Verity Garnier, a beautiful French actress sent to lure Anthony to Paris. When Anthony does travel to France, he goes not at her bidding, but to rescue his brother-in-law, Philippe. Verity and Reggie for their own reasons, join forces and follow him. Their antics as a pair of actresses who take Paris by storm, is watched by the English spy, Christian in Paris following orders from his spymaster. He finds Reggie far more attractive than he would wish and he knows his desire weakens him and throws him into danger.
