Maggi Andersen has woven a wonderful historical romance that has shades of Jane Austen. The story is engaging and once start reading .. can't stop! Easy to read with an engaging style. The story focuses on Jenny Harrismith who is a governess to two children of a Duke servicing in diplomatic role after death of his wife. It is a slow burn romance interweaving mystery, danger, bravery and love of children."
