Book Title: Casey's LuckAuthor: Maggi ColemanPublisher: Wild Child PublishingPublisher URL: http://www.wildchildpublishing.com/ISBN: 978-1-935013-68-6Genre: Mystery/ Suspense/ RomanceNymph Rating: 4 NymphsLiterary Nymphs Reviewer: Sphinx MinxCasey Rowan is spending the weekend with her dear friends, Tessa and Donald Broughton. But when she wanders downstairs in the morning, she finds Donald dead and Tessa clinging to life. She searches for the attacker, without the approval of DCI Roderick Carlisle of the Devon police department. She discovers that her friends may not be the perfect couple she had pictured.Casey is an intelligent woman, a journalist with ideals. Could the murder be traced to the memoirs Don was writing? Or was the killer an unstable client of psychologist Tessa? The author touches on the world of big-time art theft and Neo-Naziism in London. And Casey finds that a cop, trying to right his own wrongs, can ignite passion deep within her.The author gives a clear picture of a chilling winter in the English countryside, and presents believable, complex characters. I still had some questions at the end, but I found the story thought-provoking and satisfying.

Great review from Coffee Time Romance 4 cups

Katherine (Kate) Kilgarth is just about to have her first season in London. Kate’s family always believed that Kate and their neighbor’s son Laurence Firth would marry, but Kate feels they are just friends, even though she cares for Laurence a lot. But Kate wants the passion that stirs her blood. When Kate first meets Jason Broughton of Broughton Hall she first dislikes him, but soon her feelings seem to change.
Laurence Firth has loved Kate for as long as he can remember. Kate wants her season in London and that is fine, but Laurence wants Kate to look at him differently and see him for the man he is, not the childhood friend she feels for. But when Kate seems to be infatuated with Jason Broughton and in fact gets herself in danger, Laurence decides it is time to change Kate’s mind for once and for all.
Kate overhears a plot against Jason Broughton and tells Laurence about it, but Laurence tells Kate to stay out of it. Little does Kate know Laurence is taking what she says a lot more seriously than she thinks. Now Kate is on her way back to let Jason know about the plot. After that Kate decides to get closer to the people out to hurt Jason and finds herself in great danger. Kate realizes a lot of things during this time, and one is only hoping she lives to tell the man she loves. When Kate is kidnapped Laurence only hopes he can save her in time even if it means losing her to another man.
This is an exceptional romance that is full of action, adventure and danger. Set at a fast pace, this tale carries you through the twists and turns and keeps you intrigued with the adventure that Kate is going through. The author did a fabulous job with character buildup and steady dialog. This reader was really impressed with the way this romance has another romance going on, but took nothing away from Kate’s story. A very energetic and fun read.

Review of When Danger Follows from WRDF
Entertaining and Engaging.
Maggi Andersen paints a vivid picture of the Australian outback beauty and the isolation that is the life of these people. Caitlin is an interesting heroine and one that is easy to like, she is strong when needed yet has this vulnerability that draws you to her. While the hero Jake does not come across as a most pleasant man at the start, he grows on you as the story developes.

Review from Joyfully Reviewed for Stirring Passions
Katherine “Kate” Kilgarth is not quite a proper young lady. She’s always enjoyed traipsing outdoors instead of embroidery. What she can’t understand is how her childhood friend and confident, Lord Laurence, has changed so much. To make matters worse, he disapproves of her interest in Broughton Hall and its new master.
For years, Broughton Hall has been boarded up after Lord Peter was killed in a fire. Now his older brother, Jason, has arrived to set everything to order. Kate’s curiosity prompts her to investigate. But she can hardly explore with Laurence seeking to undermine her at every turn.
Is it ire or something more that has her feeling so flustered by his actions?
Although Stirring Passions’ framework recalled Barbara Cartland, Georgette Heyer, and a touch of Jane Austen, the various plot twists, intrigues, and surprises kept me on my toes. Another point was the author did her homework when it came to the setting and the social mores. For me, that was part of the appeal of reading this story because details always add just the right amount of realism.

My first book review for Rules of Conduct
URL: http://www.awe-struck.net/
Title: Rules of Conduct
Series: None
Author: Maggi Andersen
Genre(s) / Subgenre(s): Regency Romance, Romance, Historical Romance, Historical Romantic Adventure
Published By: Awe-Struck E-Books, Mundania Press
Format(s): Electronic ISBN(s): To Be Determined
Release Date: 2009, Exact Date To Be Determined
Rating: 8
When a famous Duke, a man so powerful and wealthy he dares argue with the Prince Regent himself, stumbles upon a beauty lying as if dead on a country highway, his troubles have only just begun. She has amnesia and can't explain who she is, or what happened to her, and he, despite a growing attraction for this enigmatic young woman, is already betrothed to someone else! What will be the outcome of all this? The answer to that question lies in Maggie Andersen's exciting new Regency Romance, Rules of Conduct.
Rules of Conduct opens with the third Duke of Vale, Hugh Beauchamp, hurrying home from London. He has yet again, although unsuccessfully, tried to heal the breach between himself and the Prince Regent. Now, having failed, he only wants to go home and be alone for a while, despite the fact that this means he is leaving his bride-to-be alone in London.
When his carriage almost runs over a body lying in the country lane, Hugh, fearful this is just a ploy by evil highwaymen, warily exits his vehicle. Rather than finding robbers waiting to pounce, he discovers the body is that of a striking young woman. She is not dead, but only unconscious. With the help of trusted servants, he brings her to his estate. Judging by her clothing, Hugh assumes she is of low class, for she is dressed as a man might be, and filthy into the bargain.
When the mysterious Viola (so temporarily named by Hugh for a woman in Shakespeare's play, Twelfth Night) awakens, she finds she has no memory. Now summoned to the Duke's presence, she is fearful of the outcome. He has half a mind to send her packing to the servants' quarters, but when he hears her cultivated speech and later discovers that she knows Latin, Hugh realizes that here is a mystery, indeed. Whoever this youthful, blonde-haired person is, she is no mere servant girl!
But the question remains, who is this mysterious "Viola?" Where does she come from? Why was she lying unconscious in the lane, dressed as a man, and covered in dirt? What is the meaning of the locket, the only feminine item she wears? Moreover, what is Hugh now to do with her? He doesn't feel he can treat her as a lowly servant, but neither does he know her true origins. Worse, Hugh is now developing feelings for Viola. For a man already betrothed, this is not a good thing! Even worse, he suspects she is beginning to feel the same way about him! Only complications can result.
Maggi Andersen's Rules of Conduct is "a right saucy tale," as they say, and one done in the finest traditions of Regency Romances. Although the overall tone of the tale is light, as such romances are meant to be, this book has a good plot, shows in-depth historical research, and develops its characters amazingly well. Maggi Andersen, it seems, has a real flair for Regency Romances. Her Rules of Conduct shows a brilliant attention to detail, moves at a fast pace, and makes the reader care about what happens to the main characters.
Maggi Andersen is terrific at making the time period come alive, so much so, that for precious hours I was transported there, living in the bright, colorful life of London's Ton society at the height of the English Regency period. So, for those who wish to escape our own time, travel to another, and meet new and fun people, Rules of Conduct is a must read. I highly recommend this delightful tale of two such star-crossed lovers! Rules of Conduct justly deserves the rating of 8 out of 10. And, Maggi Andersen appears to be a new force with which to be reckoned. I look forward with real interest to more novels by her! In fact, I can hardly wait!
